Bloom Defender Thumb

Bloom defender is a puzzle game in which your goal is to save the Mother Nature tree from corrupted forms of elemental energies, which travel through a maze in a bid to destroy the tree. The game is quite enjoyable, with slow music allowing you to use your grey cells to the maximum while you solve the maze puzzles.

The storyline consists of the Mother tree that is planted in the center of a bloom or glade. It is surrounded by a maze-like pathway, from which energy elementals come towards it. These elementals are actually corrupted free spirits, and can be attacked using different types of trees and flowering plants. Your job as the defender of the bloom is to plant these trees and plants around the maze, so that when the elementals are traversing the maze, they can be attacked by the trees using their fruits, leaves and other products.

Apart from the trees that act as defenders, you also have the help of five different spells that inhibit the evil spirit elementals in different ways. For example, the freeze spell will freeze the elementals for a few seconds, which will allow the trees to attack them for a longer duration.

There are elementals of five different kinds, based on the five basic elements of nature as understood by the ancients; wind, water, rock, ice and fire. The trees seek to restore the balance of negative and positive energy in these elementals by their attacks.

Bloom Defender game allows you to not only plant the trees, but also nurture them by watering them, and even uproot them if you think you have planted the tree at the wrong spot. Needless to say, people who like gardens, trees and gardening in general will love to play this game. The game background is mostly green, which itself can be soothing to the eyes. The music of the game too is quite relaxing, but invigorating at the same time, which allows you to solve the puzzle of tree planting at your own pace. Overall, this is a very nicely made game which will attract both young and old players.
